The love she has for the babies in the infant room makes every family feel welcome! Roxanne Guerrero has faithfully been serving the past couple years in our elementary room as a girls small group leader and an all-star buddy. Her heart to serve radiates throughout the room when she smiles. What to expect at Adventure Kids At Adventure Kids, we are for your family! We provide an age-appropriate experience for children aged newborn through 5th grade. We can’t wait to have your kids join us as we Follow Jesus and Tell His Story. Adventure Kids experiences are on Sunday at 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM. Our Beliefs God is the one true God and Jesus Christ is His Son. There is one all powerful God that is the creator of Heaven and Earth. He loved us so much that he sent his Son so we can have a relationship with Him. Jesus Christ is fully God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, taught truth, died on a cross, and resurrected from the dead. His same healing power is available for us today. – JOHN 17:3 People sin, God saves. We mess up and the Bible calls it sin. God created us in his own image, but we chose disobedience. We deserve death and separation from God, but by his grace through his Son Jesus we can be forgiven. By trusting God as our Lord and Savior, we can experience freedom and live an amazing life. – ROMANS 6:23 Communion & Water Baptism There are two ways we can remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. Communion is memorial and a celebration. The eucharist consists of two elements: the bread helps reminds of his body and the cup reminds of his blood. The Bible encourages us to follow his example by being immersed in water as soon after we make a decision to follow him. It is a public way for us to show that we are changed. – ACTS 2:41,42 One Eighty Life Style One Eighty Life Style God welcomes us the way we are, but change begins to happen from the inside out. We stop living for ourselves and desire to glorify God by our actions and words. – ROMANS 12:1,2 The Holy Spirit The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us power to share the good news of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin. He gives us different gifts so we can build up the church and love others. The gifts of the spirit demonstrated in an orderly way are a beautiful and vital part of the church. – ACTS 1:8 The Church The church is filled with authentic followers of Jesus who follow the New Testament church in its four purposes (Worship, Instruction, Fellowship, and Expression). The mission of the church is to become friends with the unconvinced so there may be opportunities for them to become life long followers of Christ. – EPHESIANS 4:12 God's Plan For The End Times The Bible says that Jesus will return to the earth to bring his followers to Heaven. There will be a final judgement in which the dead will be resurrected and judged. Everyone whose name is not in the Book of Life, will be separated for eternity in Hell. Those whose names are written in the Book of Life will be rewarded and spend eternity with other followers in Christ in Heaven. – 1 THESSALONIANS 4:17 Spiritually Engaged- Walking with Jesus We live each moment with the awareness that we are in God’s presence. Our life can be fully devoted to Jesus by loving, talking, listening, reading scripture, journaling, and obeying his voice constantly. Passionate Purpose- Making Disciples The highest honor is becoming friends with someone far from God and helping them become a devoted follower of Christ Jesus who helps someone else do the same. Every person matters to God. Therefore, we show God’s love and concern to everyone at every opportunity by being full of the Spirit of God. Relationally Connected - Resolving Conflict Biblically We strive to cultivate relationships built on love – love that provides encouragement, honesty, approachability, and accountability. We also seek and accept the truth spoken to us in love by resolving conflict biblically through constant forgiveness. Participation Encouraged - Creativity Embraced It is wrong for church to be boring so we will creatively use media and other relevant tools to encourage participant interaction. Ethnic Backgrounds Embraced - Reaching Beyond Ourselves We desire our church to look more like Heaven and celebrate cultural diversity. Team Focused - Serving Together There is no “I” in team. We desire to equip people to make a kingdom impact. Therefore, we envision every person in our church body part of a team, developing and using his/her talents to serve together. Click Here GFC KERR MINISTRIES KIDS YOUTH SMALL GROUPS History of Gateway Fellowship Kerr Gateway Fellowship Church Kerr County began with a simple but powerful yes to God's vision: to help meet a growing need in Kerr County for a church where people could truly belong and grow in faith. What started as a small group gathering in a home quickly outgrew the living room within three months. God opened the door for the church to begin meeting in a local barber shop, where people were giving their lives to Jesus and getting baptized in horse troughs right in the parking lot. As more people began calling GFC Kerr their home, the church transitioned into a mobile church at the Dietert Center in Kerrville, Texas. Even without a permanent space, the church family continued to grow through Sunday services, small groups, and a deep sense of community. In 2023, God provided in a powerful and unexpected way when a local church felt called to give GFC Kerr their building—completely free of charge. This generous gift gave GFC Kerr a permanent home in Ingram, Texas. Since then, the church has expanded to three Sunday morning services and continues to see lives transformed. From a house to a barber shop, to a mobile church, to a permanent home, the story of GFC Kerr has always been about trusting where God leads. Our mission remains the same: Helping Friends Become Devoted Followers of Jesus. With a heart for multiplication through small groups and a passion for regional impact, GFC Kerr is committed to reaching more people across Kerr County and the Texas Hill Country with the hope and truth of Jesus.

We’ve created a safe, fun, and engaging environment for your kids—ages 0 through 5th grade—where they can worship, learn about Jesus, and grow in their faith. When you arrive, you’ll check them in and receive a name tag with a unique code for secure pickup. What about my teenagers? Students in 6th through 12th grade join the main worship service on Sunday mornings. On Wednesday nights, middle and high school students come together for 2:22 Youth Youth—a high-energy night of worship, teaching, and community. 2:22 Youth meets in the Auditorium from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. The first Wednesday of each month features youth-led worship and a message. Is there a dress code? At GFC Kerr, we want you to feel comfortable and be yourself. Whether you show up in jeans and a t-shirt or your Sunday best, you’ll fit right in—just come as you are!
